The Division of Blind Services is celebrating 85 Years
of Empowering Independence

For 85 years, the Division of Blind Services (DBS) has been dedicated to helping blind and visually impaired Floridians achieve independence, pursue meaningful careers, and lead full, self-directed lives. Since our founding in 1941, DBS has grown into a statewide network that provides comprehensive services to individuals of all ages—from infants and students to working adults and seniors.
