This policy will be reviewed and updated as needed.

PURPOSE

To ensure that all staff know that all client purchases must be tied to the client’s individual plan.

AUTHORITY

34 CFR 361.32

POLICY

All client purchases must be tied to a client’s individual plan. No purchases should be charged to one client when the service is for another client.

When an applicant case is open there are specific diagnostic fee codes to be used that are not tied to a plan.

Ensure that all purchase orders indicate the reason for a purchase in the “comment” field of the purchase order.

All services must be prior authorized.
