Florida Department of Education: Memorandum of Agreement Between Division of Blind Services and Division of Vocational Rehabilitation

The Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) and the Division of Blind Services (DBS), both within the Florida Department of Education, have a responsibility to serve individuals who have an impediment to employment. Both divisions operate and receive federal funds under the Rehabilitation Act as amended. These funds are allocated to the State and must be divided between the two vocational rehabilitation programs to ensure that all eligible consumers receive adequate and appropriate services.
