A history of the Florida Council for the Blind in 1941. Including the Randolph Shepherd Act of 1936, the Division of Blind Services was eventually established in Daytona Beach, Florida. The Rehabilitation Center was opened in 1946 with the help of the Lions Club, and continues today. Eventually, a talking book library took its rightful place, and as first in the nation, it became a role model for other states. The author was the horticulture instructor on campus.
